The Center for OtoNeurology at St. Joseph’s Hospital is proud to sponsor our 33rd Annual Neuro-Audiology Seminar. Our Center was established in 1977 and includes Audiology, Speech/Language Pathology, EEG, Vestibular/ Balance Rehabilitation, and a Movement Disorders Program.
Our meetings have acquired unique popularity in that we not only emphasize practical clinical knowledge and feature a nationally recognized speaker but also incorporate the “Charm of Savannah” into our planned activities.
This year’s seminar is designed for physicians, audiologists and physical therapists with a goal to improve skills in the assessment and management of patients with dizziness.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
At the completion of the seminar the participant will be able to:
1. Discuss techniques to improve quality and accuracy of VNG/ENG testing
2. Summarize patterns of abnormality on a variety of vestibular diagnostic tests and discuss implications for vestibular rehab
3. Recognize typical/atypical forms of BPPV and select the appropriate
treatment maneuvers
